My commitment to the people of Owyhee County is to always protect, serve and uphold their rights.

  • Keep the peace, ensure public safety, and uphold the law.
  • Protect the constitutional rights of every citizen. Protecting every Owyhee County citizen from excessive government overreach, and unconstitutional authority, including lockdowns and mask mandates.
  • The Right To Keep And Bear Arms will be defended and protected, and any further gun control legislation will not be tolerated or enforced. Attempts by any government to make criminals out of law-abiding gun owners, will simply not happen in Owyhee County as long as I am Sheriff.
  • Implement the expectation that every sworn member and employee of the Owyhee County Sheriff’s Department shall observe, respect, and defend the rights of the citizens of Owyhee County.
  • Grow community involvement with the Sheriff’s Office.
  • Continue to work to improve community trust in the Owyhee County Sheriff’s Office.
